Hydraulic Set ESP Packer

The Saja designed packer chassis can be configured to suit the operators requirements, without the need for repeat validation testing. The single piece mandrel can be adapted to suit the completion design, whether it be single string, dual string or the inclusion of bypass lines to suit a monitored gauge application. The design lends itself to mandrel type or split phase penetrators.

The mechanical anti preset interlocks ensure the packer will reach the desired depth even in the most challenging field conditions, the interlocks remain in position until hydraulic setting pressure is applied, at which time the setting components are released.

Recoverability is critical, the element is positioned above the slips mitigating the risk that well debris can become packed in this slip system, this ensures that even over an extended period of time, the slip mechanism will release and collapse to aid recovery. The packer is retained in the released position to enabling manipulation of the string during recovery without fear of resetting the slip system.

  • 360 degree slips, minimizes casing damage due to high tubing loads in evacuated well conditions.
  • Variable shear rings to suit field requirements, up to 120,000lbs.
  • Cut release contingency where application requires shear ring greater than 120,000lbs.
  • Available in various elastomer trims, such as Aflas, HNBR and FKM.
  • Available with various feed-through penetrator options.
